We believe wellness is about more than just physical health and fitness, it also incorporates your complete social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual fulfillment. That’s why we created the Rockwood LiveWell program—a holistic approach to wellness that supports physical fitness, mental clarity, emotional resilience, creative expression and camaraderie. LiveWell is all about empowering our residents to grow, learn, discover and thrive as respected and cherished members of our Rockwood South Hill community.

You may never see a fitness center with more beautiful views than ours here at Rockwood South Hill. Break a sweat on our treadmills, free weights, elliptical trainers, a recumbent bicycle, LifeFitness cardio and strength training equipment, and more, and the incredible forest views are there to encourage you to keep going. In addition to the extensive equipment, we offer a range of fitness classes and programming designed for all ages and fitness levels.

Wellness for the mind and soul
As a faith-based retirement community, at Rockwood we believe spiritual growth and health is as important as physical health. Non-denominational Bible studies are held each week, and our staff chaplain is always here to support each resident’s spiritual journey through personal counsel and thoughtful discussion. And of course, there are a myriad of resident groups, activities, art classes and other things happening on campus each day that engage the mind, encourage creativity, and keep life active and interesting.
