Personalized care in a home-like environment
Our Medicare-certified, state-licensed skilled nursing neighborhood offers both short- and long-term care. For current residents in need of short-term rehab following an illness or surgery, our skilled nursing program is designed to help them get back to their lifestyle as quickly as possible.
For those who need more extensive ongoing daily care, our program is all about maximizing activity, independence, and interaction each and every day. Residents enjoy personalized care, fun daily activities, social interaction, and healthful meals, all in a welcoming atmosphere that contributes to the highest quality of life possible.
Can I move directly into skilled nursing?
Yes! While independent living residents at Rockwood South Hill enjoy priority access to healthcare as part of their Life Plan contract, we welcome new residents interested in moving directly into assisted living, memory support or skilled nursing. Rockwood South Hill is licensed for short-term rehab stays for current residents only. New, incoming skilled nursing inquiries for long-term care are considered on a space-available basis.
Getting better every day
For both long- and short-term care, our goal is to do what it takes to help improve the health and quality of life of our residents every day, in big and small ways. Whether you or your loved one are recovering from a hip replacement, stroke, or any health setbacks, our experienced on-site caregivers provide physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, nutrition and diet, medical care, and daily activities and routines with the aim of helping return individuals to their highest level of independence
