In our Memory Support neighborhood, from the layout of common areas and private apartments, to the training of our staff and the mix of our services, we are committed to creating a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment for residents with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
Can I move directly into memory support?
Yes! While independent living residents at Rockwood South Hill enjoy priority access to healthcare as part of their Life Plan, we welcome new residents interested in moving directly into assisted living, memory support or skilled nursing, no entry fee required.
A collaborative approach to care
Dementia is challenging for both the individual living with it and their loved ones. That’s why our care team at Rockwood works closely with the family and loved ones of our residents to create a customized care plan built not just around a diagnosis or disease, but the individual we are so privileged to serve.
Our team gets to know each resident and their family. We want to know, as best we can, the things that bring light and levity into each resident’s life.

Our beautiful 1-bedroom private suites share the same attention to detail as all of our apartment homes at Rockwood South Hill. With private bathrooms and a spacious studio layout, residents can choose between enjoying quiet time to themselves or joining friends in the expansive common areas throughout the neighborhood.
