Rockwood South Hill is looking for compassionate and caring Nursing Assistants who are interested in making a difference in the lives of our residents and their families. Nursing Assistants will be responsible for offering a quality-of-life services.
Pay Range: $21.50-$24 per hour DOE & Certification
- + Shift differential for Evening and/or Night Shift
- + Differential in lieu of benefits
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- ADLs (activities of daily living such as dressing, toileting, nail, and oral care)
- Assists with the feeding of residents.
- Measuring and recording intake and output.
- Weigh residents.
- Assists in turning and positioning residents.
- Proper transfer techniques.
- Protects the organization’s value by keeping patient information confidential.
- Demonstrates appropriate knowledge for safe use of medical equipment.
- Helps keep residents’ rooms clean and supplied.
Required Skills and Experience
- Must be a Certified CNA, proof of active license.
- Non-expired CPR/AED/First Aid Certificate
- Non-expired Food Handlers Card

Responsibilities

- Complete medication pass, resident care, and proper nurse charting/documentation.
- Nursing assessments are based on interviews, examinations, observations, and reviews of records of our residents.
- Nursing actions are consistent with the care plan and medical regimen.
- Coordinates resident care activities, based on established priorities, including teaching, rounding, counseling, and discharge planning, and directs/delegates appropriately health care team members.
- Oversees the care staff and helps them in making educated care decisions.
- Enjoy being part of a team, as this position will work closely with a team of nursing assistants and other interdisciplinary team members assuring our residents are receiving the best of care and customer service.
