Rockwood Retirement Communities is looking for a friendly, informative, and welcoming front desk concierge to join our Rockwood at South Hill team. As a Front Desk Concierge, you will serve as a positive first impression of the company at all times, while handling the daily responsibilities of a Concierge with efficiency and ease.

Pay Range: $17.50 – $18.77 per hour

Shift Type: Full-time: Monday-Thursday| Monday (7am-3:30pm), Tuesday-Thursday (8:30-5:30pm)

Responsibilities

  • Greet, assist and direct residents and visitors within the campus.
  • Answer the phone in a timely manner and direct calls to the appropriate person.
  • Trained to know the proper procedures for fire drills and will notify security of any problems or concerns.
  • Update and keep accurate all forms related to the front desk operations
  • Manage the desk with dignity and respect for others
  • Provide support services to other departments and residents as needed
  • Have a complete understanding of the fire/safety/disaster procedures and what your role is in each area
  • Ability to think on your feet and problem solve as issues arrive
  • Work cooperatively with supervisors and staff and maintain a good working relationship with all staff.

Required Skills and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience handling receptionist responsibilities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Access, and Excel).
  • Highly organized individuals who work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management and written and verbal communication skills.

Rockwood South Hill is looking for a Document Clerical Assistant who will be a key person in document management and is responsible for organizing and maintaining a system of electronic documents within a nursing facility. Tasks include filing/retrieving, copying, scanning, data entry, and ensuring accurate record keeping, and tasks typically follow our established filing protocols and procedures

Pay Range: $18.00 – $20 per hour

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Accurately scan, upload, retrieve, and print documents to and from electronic records
  • Maintaining proper document labeling and indexing protocols
  • Routinely audit electronic documents for accuracy and deficiencies
  • Assisting with telephone, mail, and email correspondence
  • Verifying accuracy of data and documents entered to electronic systems
  • Responding to internal requests for documents
  • Assisting with telephone and email correspondence
  • Keep all medical records confidential and protected
  • Attend/complete all required training and in-services
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Skills and Experience
