LiveWell at Rockwood
We believe wellness is about more than just physical health and fitness, it also incorporates your complete social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual fulfillment. That’s why we created the Rockwood LiveWell program—a holistic approach to wellness that supports physical fitness, lifelong learning through our partnership with Whitworth University, mental clarity, emotional resilience, creative expression and camaraderie. LiveWell is all about empowering our residents to grow, learn, discover and thrive as respected and cherished members of our Rockwood at Whitworth community.
Our wellness guide
“Growing up an athlete with two older brothers, I always had the knack for competition and bettering myself and those around me. I grew up in the Kansas City area and moved to the Pacific Northwest in high school. I attended Washington State University and graduated with a BS in Kinesiology. During my master’s studies, I was lucky enough to have a wonderful mentor in the Deaconess and Valley hospital system and was offered a position as their employee Wellness Coordinator. That started my career 20 years ago and I’ve never looked back. I have been blessed to work both in the field and behind the scenes as a wellness coordinator, consultant, and instructor. “
