Rockwood Retirement Communities (RRC) strives to be an employer of choice for those who demonstrate a commitment to provide exceptional service and ability to support the mission and values of our not for profit principles. Our team of more than 300 employees work in departments including nursing, food service, grounds, maintenance, housekeeping, resident services, activities, marketing and administration.

With robust benefits that include generous plans for retirement security and paid time off, RRC offer its employees a wide range of tangible and intangible benefits that form our total compensation package.  RRC recognizes and emphasizes the intrinsic value of providing a stable, predictable and pleasant work environment where trust is high and employment practices are consistent and equitable.  Meaningful work, emotional support and the reward of providing services that can make a difference in the quality of life for our residents is paramount to a committed, caring and ENGAGED workforce.  And what do we mean by an ENGAGED workforce?  ENGAGED employees know more, do more and willingly contribute more to the success of the organization.  It’s that extra discretionary energy that people bring to the workplace.

The Rockwood Way - Creating the “Branded Experience”

Based on the experience and service we provide, our brand is what we want to be known for in the eyes of our residents and the Spokane area.

We strive to achieve this by upholding non-negotiable Performance Standards for all employees. RRC has identified five behaviors that have the highest correlation to overall resident satisfaction and loyalty.  These five behaviors form our non-negotiable Performance Standards which include:

  2. Teamwork – the willingness to help each other out
