Spokane United Methodist Homes
Statement of Values

We aspire to maintain a culture of Christian values and to treat each person with respect and integrity.     Board members and staff shall consistently adhere to the highest ethical standards.  We believe that long-term success and our ability to continue to fulfill the mission of Spokane United Methodist Homes can only be achieved by adherence to ethical principles and our values.

Our Values
Integrity
We pursue our mission with honor, fairness and respect for the individual, ever mindful that there is not a “right way” to do the “wrong thing.” We uphold the values of Spokane United Methodist Homes in every action and decision. We are committed to act in good faith, to comply with the rule of law and Spokane United Methodist Homes’ policies.

Inclusiveness
We respect all faiths and embrace diversity in spirituality yet are deeply committed to Christian principles that guide us in all we do.    We serve responsibly as members of all the communities in which we live and work. Our intent is for our board, managers, employees and volunteers to represent our diverse population, so we can maximize the relationship between those we serve and Spokane United Methodist Homes.

Dedication
At Spokane United Methodist Homes we are dedicated to residents and our mission. We hold ourselves to the same standards of quality that make Spokane United Methodist Homes a premier organization. We are committed to discovery and continuous improvement in developing and implementing our programs and services.

Excellence
We believe that striving to be the best in our work, our relationships, our ideas and our services is the greatest demonstration of our pledge to resident satisfaction. We are determined to do the best at what matters most. Our success depends on our employees’ ability to deliver the consistent level of excellence expected by all who rely on us.

Sensitivity
We value our Spokane United Methodist Home’s residents and their families, employees, and volunteers and treat them with respect as individuals. We operate in a climate of openness and trust in which each of us fully grants others respect, dignity and cooperation.

Vision
We strive to be proactive, innovative and creative in all we do. In an effort to support our mission we value long-term financial stability; however, we also believe that taking prudent risks may be necessary with appropriate due diligence and consideration.

The continuity and dedication of our management team is our solid foundation. So much so, that in Rockwood’s history, the role of CEO has only been held by four individuals.

Our experienced management team works on a daily basis to make sure that our residents’ needs and wishes are not only met, but anticipated.
